Over 60+ activists from 20 countries attended our Healthcare Champions Activation on April 29. As a next step, participants are developing content and activities for World No Tobacco Day. The following resources and examples can support in that development process.

- As healthcare professionals, we witness firsthand the devastating impact of tobacco and nicotine addiction. The tobacco industry’s targeted marketing towards youth is continuing this public health crisis.
- Tobacco and nicotine industries use insidious strategies to make their harmful products appealing, especially to young people. It’s time to unmask these tactics and protect future generations.
- We support policies that protect the next generation, including:
- Measures to ban flavours and additives that make these products more appealing;
- Complete bans on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, including on digital platforms; and
- Regulation of the design of the products and their packages to make them less appealing.
