Satire has been an incredibly effective tool in the Philippines, particularly in bringing to light the influence of the industry. In total, through paid media and organic cartoonist posts, art from our cartoonist collective has driven over 150,000 reactions, and 20,000 shares. The impact even reached offline. During an offline meeting with a Mayor championing smoke-free policies, he was gifted a printed poster of a cartoon that he then shared on his own social media, praising the partnership and artist and garnering widespread engagement.
